Review - SOHO Penang Road (Chapter 2)

Continue with environment intro on 1st flour Penthouse.

 

  

5 main dishes of meal that in the menu : -

1) Roasted Herb Chicken

2) Traditional Shepherd's Pie (Beef/Chicken/Mutton)

3) SOHO Spaghetti (Chicken)

4) Bangers 'N' Mash

5) Homemade Burgers (Chicken/Beef) 

A succulent roasted chicken smothered in SOHO's special herb gravy, combine with lashings of creamy  mashed potato make you feel that non stop to cut it off piece by piece.

 If you going to find something that can fulfilled your stomach, choice of choosing the Traditional Shepherd's Pie would be your 1st choice. This dish was served with some peas and greens. In this dish, you have 2 options, either choose chicken or beef. During the day we only have chance to taste chicken, will find 1 day to go back & try on the beef.

 Although it serve a big portion of spaghetti, but the taste just normal.The spaghetti served al dente with minced chicken bolognaise.

 Come to the 4th dishes Bangers 'N' Mash, this is my favorite. If serve with A traditional Home-made jumbo sausage, surrounded with creamy mashed potato, peas and tasty onion gravy. Simple & good.

 Finally come to the famous western dish "burger". I found that the meat was so juicy and flavorful. It serve with some fries and greens. This is not my 1st choice, but seems acceptable for the combination.

Review - SOHO Penang Road (Chapter 1)

SOHO at upper Penang road, located at No. 50, Penang Road 10000 Penang. It can be easily spotted, a bright purple building opposite of Red Garden's Car Park. If come with ground floor SOHO Free House & 1st floor SOHO Penthouse. It has been established there for more than 13 years. A lot of Englishman that travel to Penang would have their drinking session & chit chat at SOHO frequently. This time food review is regarding the promotion of RM7.80 best deal meal with 5 choices. It is served 7 days a week between 12 noon to 12 midnight. Very happy that been invited by Sam Ong to have a nice dinner review here.

De Title Dining Cabin

 

 Very happy that been invited by Qzzzy to having a lunch review together with all the floggers that stat at "Lorong Selamat", a very famous hawker food area. This time our target place is a unique restaurant with purple color in & outfit "De Title dining cabin" restaurant. 

The restaurant start their business since Dec 2010, "De Title dining cabin" identified the culinary bases that it intended to found different cuisines from different country’s around the globe into a whole new recipe, among the most loved and frequented throughout the Penang Island. This place serves a mixture/fusion of western and probably their own twist of food. There is a wide variety of food on the menu and they have sets for lunch and dinner as well. The ambiance of this restaurant is awesome. According to these 2 young ladies as a restaurant owner, the whole building was art, painted and decorated by themselves.

Overall in this time food review were nice & enjoyable. I personally go for the rosered chicken. According to the owners, you can even request for your very special customize menu if you so desire.
